Ginger and pecan nut fudge

  • 1
    can condensed milk
  • 125
  • 400
  • 50
    preserved ginger, sliced
  • 125
    chopped pecan nuts


5 minutes
Use a large microwave-proof glass bowl.
Mix together the condensed milk, butter and sugar.
Microwave on high for two minutes, then stir well with a wooden spoon.
Microwave on high for a further two minutes, stirring occasionally.
Leave to stand for one minute.
Stir in the ginger and nuts and pour the micture into a greased baking tin.
Allow to cool, then cut into squares.
