Ingredients (8)

500.00 g mushrooms
25.00 ml butter
1.00 red pepper — chopped
3.00 garlic — cloves, finely chopped
salt and freshly ground black pepper
fresh parsley — chopped
125.00 g cottage cheese — smooth
2.00 bread — white, sliced

Method:

Preheat the oven to 220 ºC (440 ºF).
Wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth.
Heat the butter and sauté the red pepper until soft.
Add the mushrooms and garlic and fry until the mushrooms are nicely browned. Season to taste with salt, pepper and freshly chopped parsley.
Place in an ovenproof dish and dot with cottage cheese.
Crumble the bread and sprinkle over the cottage cheese.
Bake for about 10 minutes until the breadcrumbs are nicely browned.
Serve immediately.
