Garlic cream potatoes

  • 6
    large potatoes, peeled
  • 3
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • salt and milled black pepper
  • 250
    cream or milk


Slice potatoes in thin ovals and layer in shallow ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with garlic, salt and milled black pepper. Pour cream over potatoes, add a little water to just cover. Bake at 180 ºC, covered, for 1 hour. Remove cover and bake until potatoes are golden, 20 to 30 minutes. TOTAL KILOJOULE COUNT: 5 950 kJ (1 420 Cal). A portion: 990 kJ (235 Cal).
