Ingredients (6)

4.00 corn on the cob — cut into rounds
100.00 ml butter — or margerine
3.00 garlic — cloves, peeled, bruised
20.00 ml marmite
6.00 bacon — rindless rashers, shredded, fried
10.00 ml fresh oregano

Method:

1. Place the mealie rings on a piece of heavy aluminium foil. Mix butter, garlic, Marmite, bacon and origanum and divide among the mealies.
2. Wrap securely and braai over coals for 20 to 30 minutes, until the mealies are tender.
