Ingredients (8)

2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
0.00 salt — just a pinch
2.00 slices white bread, crusts removed
0.50 red pepper — chopped
1.00 fresh chillies — deseeded
50.00 ml fresh herbs — basil, coriander, parsley or lemon thyme
250.00 ml fresh chillies — 573
5.00 ml lemon — or lime zest only

Method:

Place all ingredients except the oil and zest in a blender and blend until smooth.
While the motor is running, add the olive oil in a thin stream and blend until thick and smooth.
Stir in the lemon or lime zest and chill until ready to serve.
Makes about 350 ml
