Fruity truffles

  • 200
    chocolate, broken into squares
  • 30
  • 125
    leftover fruitcake or Christmas pudding, crumbled
  • 125
    chocolate vermicelli or 1 x Flake bar, crumbled


5 minutes
Melt the chocolate in the microwave oven on 70 percent power, stirring occasionally.
Add the butter and heat once more for a few seconds.
Stir until smooth.
Stir in the cake or pudding and leave the mixture to cool.
Roll teaspoonfuls of the mixture into balls and roll them in the crumbled Flake or chocolate vermicelli.
Place on a baking tray lined with foil or parchment and refrigerate until hard.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge until needed.
