Fruit And Cream Cheese Trifle

    low-fat cream cheese
  • 60
  • 250
    low-fat plain or vanilla yoghurt
  • 250
    fresh berries
  • 3
    pears, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 2
    peaches, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 250
    bran or oat biscuits, crushed


Beat together the cream cheese and 45 ml of the sugar until smooth. Stir in the yoghurt. Mix the fruit with the remaining sugar and set the mixture aside for 5 minutes.

Spoon 30 ml of the cheese mixture into each of 6 glasses. Divide half the fruit and half the biscuit crumbs among the glasses.

Repeat the layers once more. Sprinkle the remaining biscuit crumbs on top, cover and refrigerate until needed.
