3.00 eggs — beaten
125.00 ml milk
3.00 bread — rolls
125.00 ml oil
0.00 mustard
1.00 onion — finely chopped, fried
100.00 g cheddar cheese — finely grated

Method:

Beat the eggs and milk together and soak the bread rolls in the mixture. Fry in shallow oil until golden brown on both sides. Drain the fried bread rolls on paper towelling. Lightly spread each bread roll half with mustard and sprinkle with a little of the onion and cheese. Place the bread roll halves in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Serve immediately.
