French bread open sandwiches

  • 6
    small French loaves
  • 200
    olive oil
  • toppings of your choice - see


Preheat oven to 160 ºC.
With a knife, cut bread into 5 mm thick slices.
Lay slices in a roasting tin and dry in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until golden.
Cool, then lightly brush with olive oil.
Top with ingredients of your choice.
