Ingredients (12)

1 onion — small, chopped
2 garlic — cloves, finely sliced
250-300 g mushrooms — mixed
250 ml cream
150-200 g ham — strips
lemon juice — to taste
1/2 tsp paprika
nutmeg — ground, pinch
salt and freshly ground black pepper
500 g pasta — fettucini, cooked
parmesan cheese — grated
fresh parsley — to serve

Method:

Fry the onion and garlic in a bit of butter or
olive oil until soft and translucent.
Add the mushrooms and fry for 2
minutes until they start to brown.
Add the cream and allow to cook for
7-10 minutes until the mushrooms are cooked and the cream has thickened
slightly.
Add the ham, lemon juice and spices and season to taste.
Serve the
sauce over the cooked pasta and add a good grating of parmesan and a few parsley leaves.
