Eggs stuffed with walnut filling

    hard-boiled eggs, shelled and halved
  • 30
    cream cheese, softened butter or smooth cottage cheese
  • 30

    whole walnut halves, very finely chopped
  • paprika, salt and black pepper to taste
  • walnut halves for garnishing (optional)


Carefully remove the egg yolks, ensuring that the egg whites remain intact. Place in a mixing bowl and add the cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix well until smooth. Add the finely chopped walnuts and mix well. Season to taste with paprika, salt and black pepper. Spoon a little of the filling into the egg white halves and garnish with walnut halves, if desired.
