410.00 ml flour — cake
3.00 ml salt
3.00 eggs — extra-large
300.00 ml milk
300.00 ml water
65.00 ml oil
8.00 sausages — pork

Method:

Place the cake flour and salt in a mixing bowl and make a hollow in the centre. Add the eggs and mix well. Mix the milk and water together and gradually add to the flour mixture, beating constantly. Cover and leave the batter to stand for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 220 ºC. Add half the oil to a metal oven pan and heat on a hotplate until the oil is hot. Add the pork sausages to the pan and brown well. Add the remaining oil and heat until very hot. Remove from the hotplate, pour over the batter and bake for 45 minutes in the oven until nicely risen and golden brown. Stand for 5 minutes to cool slightly, then serve hot with a fresh green salad. Serves 4 as a light meal.
