Double-decker deluxe sandwich

    tomatoes, halved
  • 30
    olive oil
  • 4
    ham, sliced
  • 1
    rye bread
  • 1
    a handful rocket
  • 100
    Parmesan, shaved
  • 2
  • 2
    freshly ground black pepper


This is a fun sandwich that you can adjust at whim according to your taste. (And definitely one for the larger appetites)

Stack and pack
Cut the rye bread into slices and drizzle them with Extra Virgin olive oil. Take a slice of bread, top with a slice of ham and tomatoes, and put another slice of bread on top.
Now add rocket/lettuce and loads of Parmesan shavings and season with salt and pepper.
Place another piece of bread on top of this to finish off the double-decker sandwich.
