Ingredients (10)

310.00 ml flour — cake
65.00 ml sugar
125.00 ml margarine — cold
1.00 condensed milk
65.00 ml cocoa powder
1.00 eggs
5.00 ml vanilla — essence
3.00 ml Baking powder
200.00 g milk chocolate — milk, bar
180.00 ml walnuts — chopped

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 &degC. Line a 13 cm square baking pan with foil and set aside.
In a bowl, combine 250 ml flour and sugar and cut in the margarine until crumbly.
Press onto bottom of pan and bake for 15 minutes.
In another bowl, beat together condensed milk, cocoa powder, egg, remaining flour, vanilla and baking powder.
Mix in the chocolate pieces and nuts.
Spread over prepared crust and bake for 20 minutes or until set. Cool.
Use the foil to lift brownies out of the pan.
To make heart shapes, cut with a heart-shaped cookie cutter.
Dust with icing sugar just before serving.
