Ingredients (14)

1.00 onion — finely chopped
oil
500.00 g beef mince
1.00 tomatoes — peeled and finely chopped
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
10.00 ml Worcestershire sauce
30.00 ml tomato paste
1.00 bread — sliced, crusts removed, crumbled
1.00 eggs — extra-large, whisked
4.00 potatoes — peeled and cut into chunks
60.00 ml cottage cheese — smooth
50.00 ml sour cream
50.00 ml cheddar cheese — grated

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF). Spray an ovenproof dish with non-stick spray.
Sauté the onion in a little oil until tender. Add the mince and stir-fry until the meat is just done. Add the tomatoes and season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste and mix. Remove from the heat and add the breadcrumbs and egg, mixing well.
Spoon layers of the mince and potato into the prepared oven dish, ending with a layer of potato. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top and heated through.
Serve with a salad.
