Deep-fried cheese

    processed cheese portions (any variety)
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 250
  • oil for deep-frying


Unwrap cheese portions. Dip each one into beaten egg and then breadcrumbs, to coat well. Fry in hot oil for a few minutes until golden. Serve with a sweet or savoury sauce, such as a chutney or relish.
