Baked Plums In Rosé Wine

Oven Temperature 180°C

Baking Time 20 minutes

  • 1kg firm, fresh plums, pitted and halved
  • 400ml rosé wine
  • 45 to 60ml honey
  • rind and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Greek yogurt

1 Preheat the oven, and place the plums in a single layer in an oven dish.

2 Pour the wine, honey, lemon rind and juice over, add the cinnamon stick and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve with a dollop of thick Greek yoghurt.

TIP You can serve the plums with ice cream or crème fraîche instead of yogurt.
