Crumbed oysters

  • 12
    wild oysters
  • 30
    rice wine
  • 125
    brown bread crumbs
  • 15
    white and black sesame seeds
  • 1
    garlic clove
  • 2
    grated peel of lime



Preheat grill.Loosen oyster flesh and set aside.
Place a half teaspoon of rice wine in the bottom of each shell.

Top with oyster.Mix remaining ingredients together.Scatter over oyster and grill until golden.

Serve with lime wedges and extra Tabasco.Don't confuse rice wine vinegar with rice wine.
If you don't have rice wine,use medium-cream sherry instead.
