Creamy fish pie

    hake fillets
  • salt and pepper to taste

    onions, finely chopped
  • 2
    green apples, skinned and diced

    mustard powder

    extra-large eggs, beaten

    finely chopped parsley
  • 5
    dried dill

    potatoes, boiled till soft and mashed

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Spray an ovenproof dish with non-stick spray. Season the hake with salt and pepper and steam until done. Flake and spoon into the prepared oven dish. Sauté the onion and apple in a little oil till done. Spoon over the flaked fish and mix lightly. Mix the cornflour and mustard powder and add the milk and eggs. Season with parsley, dill, salt and pepper. Mix and pour over the fish mixture. Spoon the mashed potato into a piping bag and pipe mounds of potato around the edge of the dish. Bake for about 30 minutes or till the egg mixture has set and the potatoes start to brown. Serves 4 - 6.
