  • 8
    chicken drumsticks
  • 1
    chicken stock cube
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • few whole peppercorns
  • 3
    whole cloves
  • beaten egg
  • 61
    mushroom soup powder
  • oil


Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Place the drumsticks in a saucepan with the chicken stock (1 stock cube dissolved in 400 ml boiling water) and seasonings and simmer until the meat is tender and cooked, but does not fall off the bone. Remove from the pan and cool. Roll the drumsticks in the beaten egg and then in the mushroom soup powder. Arrange them in an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with a little oil. Bake in the oven until golden brown. Turn the chicken pieces once during the cooking time. Serves 6.
