260.00 g icing sugar
45.00 ml water
2.00 Food colouring
2.00 Litres popcorn — popped

Method:

Place the icing sugar in a heavy-based saucepan and heat slowly while adding the water a little at a time until a thick paste is formed. Add the food colouring drop by drop and mix well. Add small quantities of the popcorn at a time and mix until the popcorn is lightly covered with the icing sugar mixture. Turn out onto a baking tray to cool.
Makes 2 litres coloured popcorn.
