Coconut fingers

    slices day-old white bread, sliced
  • 397
    Nestlé condensed milk
  • coconut


Turn on the oven grill. Grease a baking sheet well with margarine. Remove the crusts from the bread slices and cut into fingers. Generously spread each strip of bread with condensed milk. Dip the strips in coconut and arrange them on the greased baking sheet. Grill until golden brown, taking care that the bread doesn't burn. Makes 18-24 fingers.
