Coconut And White Chocolate Truffles

  • 560
    icing sugar
  • 2
    cream of tartar
  • 2
    397g cans condensed milk
  • 540
    desiccated coconut
  • 200
    white chocolate
  • 50
    silver balls, to decorate


Sift the icing sugar and cream of tartar together.
Add the condensed milk and stir until smooth. Add half the coconut and mix well. Add the other half of the coconut and stir well until the mixture sticks together.
Leave to set for about 30 minutes. Roll the mixture into small balls and place on a greased and lined baking tray.
Melt the chocolate and allow to cool. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place on a cooling rack. Sprinkle silver balls onto the chocolate and then allow to set. Place each truffle into a small silver paper casing.
