Ingredients (9)

2.00 peaches — tinned (or fruit of your choice)
375.00 ml flour
7.00 ml Baking powder
1.00 ml salt
30.00 ml sugar
7.00 ml cinnamon — ground
60.00 g butter
300.00 ml evaporated milk
0.00 icing sugar — for dusting

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 &degC.

Spread peaches (with juice) over base of a 23 cm pie dish.

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cinnamon. Rub in the butter.

Stir in the Ideal milk.

Mix until smooth.

Spoon batter over the peaches.

Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

Dust with icing sugar and serve with custard or cream.

Tips:

This pudding is delicious made with any type of fresh or canned fruit – try apples, pears or plums, (if using fresh fruit, remember to add extra sugar to the fruit, to taste).
