Ingredients (9)

230.00 g margarine
375.00 ml castor sugar
2.00 eggs
680.00 ml flour — cake
10.00 ml Cream of tartar
5.00 ml Bicarbonate of soda
3.00 ml salt
FOR ROLLING
250.00 ml sugar — granulated
10.00 ml cinnamon — ground

Method:

1. Cream together the margarine and sugar. Add eggs one at a time and beat well.
2. Sift together dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture. Mix well to form a firmish dough.
3. Wrap in clingfilm and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
4. Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in sugar and cinnamon mix and place well apart, about 5 cm, onto ungreased baking sheets.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 ºC for 10 to 12 minutes.
