Chocolate truffles

    Nestlé Easy Melt Dark Chocolate
  • 1
    small can (155 g) Nestlé Dessert Cream
  • 30
    rum or brandy (optional)
  • 200
    cake crumbs
  • 50
    ground almonds
  • Grated Nestlé Easy Melt Dark Chocolate or Nestlé Cocoa Powder.


60 minutes

Melt the chocolate over hot water or at 50% power in the microwave.
Allow to cool slightly.
Stir in the Cream and rum or brandy, if using, until smooth.
Beat in the cake crumbs and ground almonds.
Chill for 45 minutes.
Divide and roll the mixture into 20 - 25 balls.
Roll balls in the grated chocolate or cocoa powder.
Chill before serving.

For a change, why not roll truffles in grated Nestlé Easy Melt Caramel Chocolate OR substitute orange liqueur for the rum or brandy, if using, and use Nestlé Easy Melt White Chocolate instead of the Dark Chocolate.
