Ingredients (10)

250.00 g dark chocolate
100.00 g butter
45.00 ml honey
65.00 ml glacé cherries — chopped
65.00 ml dried fruit mix
100.00 g almonds — ground
100.00 g mixed nuts — roasted and chopped
200.00 g biscuits — chocolate-sandwich
icing sugar
wax paper, cellophane, ribbon

Method:

Melt the chocolate, butter and honey over medium heat until everything has melted.
Add the remaining ingredients, except the icing sugar, and mix.
Cool slightly before spooning the mixture across the length of a sheet of wax paper.
Roll up and place in the fridge until firm.
Remove the wax paper, roll the salami in icing sugar and wrap in a double layer of cellophane.
Tie ribbons around the ends and keep chilled until needed.
Slice into thin slices and serve with coffee.
It also makes a wonderful gift.
