Chocolate pastry pockets

  • 1
    packet of ready-made puff pastry
  • 5
    Bar One chocolate bars
  • 1
    egg, beaten (egg wash)
  • icing sugar for dusting (optional)

Preheat the oven at 180°C.
Dust your surface with flour and roll out the puff pastry.
Cut the pastry into 5cm squares.
Cut the Bar One chocolate bars into 2 cm thick pieces and place the chocolate bar in the centre.
Fold the pastry square to cover the chocolate, in half or bringing all the points to the centre. Depending on your preference.
Brush the tops of the pastry pockets with the egg wash.
Place on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes.
Place on a wire rack to cool.

Dust with icing sugar before serving. (Optional)
