Chocolate and hazelnut tart

  • 375
    ready made frozen or homemade puff pastry, thawed
  • 250
    chocolate spread
  • 30
    hazelnuts, roasted


Preheat oven to 180 ºC. Roll out pastry to 3 mm thick on a lightly floured surface. Cut into a 20 x 30 cm rectangle using a sharp knife, and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, or until pastry is puffed up and golden. Cool on a wire rack. Spread chocolate spread over pastry and sprinkle with roasted hazelnuts. Cut into slices and serve with coffee. Serves 4-6.
