Ingredients (10)

4.00 onions — sliced into rings
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
10.00 fresh chillies — deseeded and chopped
60.00 ml oil
5.00 ml curry powder
2.00 ml chillies — powder
125.00 ml tomato sauce
15.00 ml vinegar
Worcestershire sauce
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste

Method:

Sauté the onion, garlic and chilli in the oil until soft. Add the curry and chilli powder and stir-fry for about one minute. Add the remaining ingredients and a little water if necessary. Simmer until a thickish sauce is formed. Store in sterilised bottles in the fridge.
Makes about 750 ml.
