Chilli baby corn

Ingredients

  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 10
    ml
    grated fresh ginger
  • oil
  • 250
    g
    baby corn
  • 30
    ml
    chilli sauce
  • 75
    ml
    soy sauce
  • 15
    ml
    sherry
  • 5
    ml
    sugar
  • 4
    large ripe tomatoes, skinned and cut into wedges
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4
    chives, cut into strips
 

Method

+/- 10 min
 
Sauté the garlic and ginger in a little oil until soft. Add the baby corn and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until soft but still crisp. Add the remaining ingredients except the chives, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with the chives and serve immediately. Serves 4.
