Chicken livers with potato

Ingredients 5
Servings 3


  • 1
    large onion, finely chopped
  • 500
    chicken livers, cleaned
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 3
    large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • chicken stock


Sauté the onion in a little oil till soft. Season the chicken livers with salt and pepper and fry till brown on the outside but still slightly pink inside. Add the potatoes and a little chicken stock and simmer till the potatoes are soft and done. Serves 2-3.
