Chicken kebabs marinated in sweet chili

Ingredients (9)

16 - 20 kebab sticks, soaked in water for 30 – 45 minutes
800 g chicken — deboned, cubed
80 ml sweet chilli sauce
60 ml soy sauce
10 ml fresh ginger — grated
2 garlic — cloves, peeled and crushed
1 ml mustard — powder
15 ml honey
15 ml lemon juice — fresh

Method:

Spear 4 to 5 cubes of chicken onto a kebab stick.
Mix the chilli sauce, soya sauce, ginger, garlic, mustard powder, oil, honey and lemon together in a plastic container.
Marinade the chicken kebabs for 24 to 36 hours in this mixture.
Oven roast in a  pre-heated 190ºC oven for 8 to 10 minutes or cook on a medium-heat braai for 10 minutes.
Serve at room temperature.
