Ingredients (15)

30.00 ml oil
1.00 onion — finely chopped
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
10.00 ml curry powder
5.00 ml cumin
5.00 ml coriander — ground
5.00 ml ginger — ground
300.00 g chicken breast fillets — cut into strips
410.00 g tomato and onion mix
15.00 ml tomatoe paste
5.00 ml garam masala
180.00 ml yoghurt — plain
125.00 ml cream
5.00 ml fresh coriander — chopped
0.00 salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Heat the oil in a large pan and saut&eacute the onion and garlic until just soft.
Add the curry powder, cumin, ground coriander and ginger and sauté for a minute.
Add the chicken and stir-fry until just done.
Add the tomato and onion mix and tomato paste and bring to the boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in the remaining ingredients and season with salt and pepper.
Heat without allowing the mixture to come to the boil.
Serve with rice and poppadoms.
