Chicken and mushroom pie

    cloves garlic, chopped

    large tomato, chopped

    fresh button mushrooms, halved

Roast chicken in preheated 180 °C oven for one hour. Pour the juices from the roasting pan into a saucepan. Remove the chicken skin and debone. Add the onions and garlic to the chicken juices and simmer until transparent. Add the tomato, mushrooms, cream, herbs, deboned chicken and salt and pepper, to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the topping ingredients together and blend until smooth. Spoon the chicken mixture into a deep ovenproof dish. Pour the topping over it and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until puffed and brown.
