Cherries Jubilee

  • 410
    pitted black cherries in syrup, drain but retain syrup
  • 30

    cherry liqueur
  • 1
    frozen yoghurt


Blend a small quantity of cherry syrup with cornflour. Place remaining syrup in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Pour the heated syrup onto the cornflour mixture and stir until mixture thickens and boils. Add cherries. Stir in cherry liqueur. Heat through for 3 minutes. Spoon hot cherries and sauce into individual serving bowls and top with a scoop of frozen yoghurt. Serve immediately.
