Cheesy beans

  • 1
    onion, finely chopped
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2
    tomatoes, skinned and finely chopped
  • 850
    baked beans in tomato sauce
  • 100
    Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 30
    finely chopped parsley


Sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil till soft. Add the tomato and simmer till the tomato is soft. Add the baked beans and heat till warmed through. Remove from the heat and add the cheese. Stir till the cheese has melted. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with rice. Serves 2-3.
