Ingredients (8)

250.00 ml flour — self-raising
salt — pinch
10.00 ml butter
200.00 ml cheddar cheese — grated
8.00 bacon — streaky rashers, fried, finely chopped
150.00 ml milk
15.00 ml tomato sauce
15.00 ml Worcestershire sauce

Method:

Preheat the oven to 200 ºC (400 ºF). Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
Sift the flour and salt together and rub in the butter with your fingertips until the mixture resembles bread crumbs. Add the cheese and bacon and mix lightly. Mix the milk, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce and add to the dry ingredients. Mix lightly until just blended and shape into a circle on the baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until done.
Serve hot with butter and cheese.
