Ingredients (5)

450.00 g puff pastry
100.00 ml picalilli
1.00 spring onions — bunch, trimmed and sliced
225.00 g mature cheddar cheese — grated
1.00 eggs — large, lightly beaten

Method:

Roll out the puff pastry and cut out 6 rounds. Spread 15 ml picalilli over each of the pastry rounds. Sprinkle over onion and cheese. Brush water around edges of the pastry and fold over to create pasty shapes. Make three small slashes on the top of each pasty. Brush with egg to glaze and bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden.
Oven temperature: 200 ºC
