Ingredients (13)

30.00 ml fresh chillies — 573
3.00 garlic — cloves, thinly sliced
1.00 onion — finely chopped
10.00 ml dried chilli flakes
6.00 anchovy fillets
2.00 tinned tomatoes — chopped
5.00 ml sugar
16.00 olives — calamata, halved
2.00 tuna — tinned chunks in brine
1.00 lemon — peel, julienned
80.00 ml fresh Italian parsley — roughly chopped
0.00 freshly ground black pepper
500.00 g pasta

Method:

Heat oil in a pan.
Add onion, garlic and chilli and sauté for two minutes.
Add anchovies and cook to melt, about three minutes.
Add tomatoes and sugar, season well.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir in olives, tuna, lemon peel and parsley and adjust seasoning.
Toss into hot pasta and serve with a green salad.
Note: If this all sounds a bit fishy, omit the anchovies and add capers, basil, feta or cubed avocado at the last minute.
