250.00 g puff pastry
125.00 g camembert cheese
eggs — beaten

Method:

Roll out pastry. Cut into 2 circles, one slightly larger than the other and the smaller one about 4 cm larger than cheese.
Place small pastry circle on an oiled baking sheet and place cheese in centre. Brush edges with beaten egg. Place other circle of pastry on top and seal edges.
Trim, then, using a fork, press edges of pastry down firmly.
Brush parcel with beaten egg and cut 2 small vents in top for steam to escape.
Bake at 200 ºC for about 20 minutes, or until pastry is golden brown. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes (cheese should be melted but not liquid).
Serve with a salad and a little cranberry jelly.
