Camembert and bacon bruschetta

  • 2
    slices French loaf, sliced diagonally
  • garlic butter (see tips)
  • few lettuce leaves
  • 3
    rashers bacon, grilled
  • 75
    ripened Camembert cheese, sliced
  • 30
    apple jelly


Butter the bread on both sides with the garlic butter. Arrange on a baking sheet and grill under the oven grill until lightly browned. Transfer the bread to a plate, top with a few lettuce leaves and arrange the cheese and bacon on top. Serve immediately with apple jelly.
