Ingredients (5)

4 tomatoes — ripe
4 Tbs butter
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 fresh thyme
4 white bread — thickly sliced toast

Method:

Heat the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the tomato slices to the pan, sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme leaves and fry, turning once, until softened but holding their shape.

Spoon onto white bread along with any pan juices and eat immediately.
