Ingredients (4)

400.00 g puff pastry — or flaky pastry, frozen
100.00 g sugar
1.00 eggs — yolk only
15.00 ml milk — cold

Method:

Roll pastry out into 35 cm x 25 cm rectangle, 6 mm thick. Cut into 8 cm x 3 cm rectangles.
Brush with egg yolk and milk mixture and sprinkle again with sugar.
Twist each rectangle to form a butterfly. Brush again with egg mixture and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 240 ºC for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly golden.
TOTAL KILOJOULE COUNT: 7 195 kJ (1 720 Cal). A portion: 240 kJ (55 Cal).
