Ingredients (9)

125.00 g bacon — chopped
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
2.00 potatoes — peeled and diced
2.00 tomatoes — large, peeled and finely chopped
250.00 ml stock — chicken
300.00 g bully beef — diced
2.00 ml mixed herbs
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
4.00 bread — sliced, toasted, buttered

Method:

Fry the bacon till done but not crisp.
Add the garlic and potato and stir-fry for about one minute.
Add the tomato and stock, reduce the heat and simmer till the potato is nearly done.
Add the remaining ingredients, except the toast. Simmer for about 5 minutes or till the mixture is heated through.
Serve with toast fingers.
Serves 4.
