Ingredients (13)

30.00 ml oil
1.00 onion — medium, chopped
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
15.00 ml curry powder
10.00 ml turmeric
50.00 ml chutney — fruit
30.00 ml vinegar — grape
3.00 bananas — diced
300.00 g bully beef — mashed
TOPPING
250.00 ml milk
2.00 eggs — whisked
1.00 ml turmeric
curry powder — pinch

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC and butter a 23 cm ovenproof dish or spray with non-stick spray.
Stir-fry the onion and garlic in the heated oil until soft and glossy and add the curry powder and turmeric. Fry for another minute and add the remaining ingredients, except the topping ingredients. Mix and spoon into the ovenproof dish, spreading evenly.
Beat the topping ingredients together and pour over the meat mixture. Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping has set and is golden brown.
Cool slightly and serve with rice, chutney and vegetables if desired.
Serves 4.
