Bruschetta with smoked oysters

    slices of white bread
  • 15
    olive oil
  • 1
    garlic clove, peeled and halved
  • 125
    cream cheese
  • 1
    can smoked oysters, drained
  • 4
    cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 15
    caviar (optional)
  • 30
    fresh chives, finely chopped


5 minutes
Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter and press heart shapes out of the slices of bread.
You can use slices of French bread if you do not have a cookie cutter.
Place the bread onto a baking tray.
Drizzle or brush both sides with a little olive oil.
Grill on both sides until golden.
Remove the bread from the grill and rub the garlic clove over one side of each piece.
Top with one or two smoked oysters, slices of tomato, a small dollop pf caviar and a sprinkling of chives.
