Ingredients (9)

100.00 g chocolate — chopped
175.00 g butter
4.00 eggs
orange — zest only
150.00 g castor sugar
50.00 g flour — plain
50.00 g desiccated coconut
100.00 g chocolate — chips
icing sugar

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 ºC. Grease and line a 20 cm square cake tin.
1. Melt the chocolate pieces and butter together, stirring frequently, leave to cool. Whisk eggs, orange rind and sugar together until frothy, stir in chocolate and butter mixture.
2. Fold in flour and coconut followed by chocolate chips. Transfer to prepared tin and bake for 30 minutes until well risen and just firm to the touch.
3. Leave brownies to cool in the tin. Cut into squares and dust with icing sugar or sprinkle with coconut. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
