Brandied grapes (Boerejongens)

  • 3
    bunches of hanepoot grapes
  • 30
  • 250
    brandy (approximately)


Remove grapes from the stems and pack tightly into a sterilised jar.
Spoon sugar over the grapes and cover with brandy.
Seal the jar and store in a cool, dark place for up to three months.
Serve as a dessert with whipped cream.
