Braised tuna

  • 1
    onion, sliced into rings
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1
    green chilli, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1
    tomato, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2
    potatoes, peeled and diced
  • about 180 ml water
  • 125
  • 2
    cans (185 g each) tuna, drained


Sauté the onion, garlic and chilli in a little oil until soft. Add the tomato and simmer until a sauce is formed. Add the potato and water and simmer until the potato is soft and done. Add the peas and tuna and simmer another 5 minutes, or until heated through. Serve with rice. Serves 4-5.
